Federal University Oye-Ekiti Students' Union (FUOYESU) has been disbanded by FUOYE Management.
As part of the consolidating meeting with the school management to bring back the students union which serve as the only voice of the voiceless, a huge success have been recorded.
On Wednesday 6th of November 2019, meeting was held between FUOYESU Stakeholders and the FUOYE Management Representatives. The following agreement were reached;
- Federal University Oye-Ekiti Students' Union (FUOYESU) has been reinstated
- 2018/2019 Executives led by Comr. Awodola Oluwaseun Samuel (Unique AOS) are disbanded,
- Faculty presidents takes charge and conduct a fresh election for the students' Union.
NOTE: None of the disbanded executives will be eligible to contest in the coming election.
NB: The voice of the masses will never be silenced
