Hitting the stage of this fanciful Theatre complex, first, in the new year (2018) is the performance of a Nigerian hilarious comedy written by Elechi Amadi- Peppersoup, directed by Tayo ISIJOLA, for the celebration of Valentine’s day. The performance is scheduled to run from Wednesday 14th through Friday 16th February 2018 at 2pm daily.
From the on-going rehearsals, our reporter gathered that the Director’s interpretation transposes the play from its Port Harcourt setting to Ibadan, to ensure an overwhelming and immediate connect with the audience, and on each day of the performance, Director and Host, is poised to treat the audience to a bonus of valentine fantasia in a wisecrack moment, all for a gate fee of Two Hundred Naira (N200) only.
The performance indeed, promises to be a swell time in this season of love; for stale and new lovers, the lots that are seeking to fall in love again, and the not-set-for-this-love-thing others, in this event that X-rays the conditioning of a HEART that is shared between two ladies at the time.
