So there’s been a lot of hear say concerning the recent catastrophe that happened in Federal University Oye-Ekiti (Fuoye) some days ago. The OYESource News Team took the liberty of clearing the air and tell you the real truth of/about what happened.

On Tuesday morning (6/03/2018), the Transportation Committee directed and controlled by the Director of Transport (D.O.T) Comr Oyinloye Emmanuel decided to go on their normal Bike price check and restoring of the agreed price between the Motorcyclist Chairman, Branch Chairman, other Unitary bodies of the controlling the activities of motorcycles in Oye Ekiti and the Fuoye Student Union government.
It turns out the Motorcyclists had breach the agreement signed between their Executives and Students Union body and the Fuoye Student Union body can't restrict their activities with enforced law by stopping them from plying the school road, not to convey any student from school junction to either school gate or phase 2.
The committee of transport then stood at the school gate monitoring bike men with normal procedure and no interruption of their daily activities but a Motorcyclist conveyed two students school junction to school gate at the #100 which the normal price is #80 and the committee members told the refund the #20 back and refused totally due to his ignorance which resulted into a hot argument between the committee members, the motorcyclist and his colleagues.
The Students Union Vice President Comr Bisiriyu Ayorinde (Ayodinho) and other Elected Executives came to address the situation at the scene of incident and expressed his disappointment in the persistent odious characters of the motorcyclists plying the road which led the Executives, transport committee members and School security to lead some group of bike men away from the school gate and stopping them from causing an uproar within the school premises.
On the other hand, The Motorcyclists moved to the front of Deeper Life Christian Fellowship very close to the school gate blocking movements of both students and vehicles conveying students from school junction to school, immediately, the Security Unit went to chase them away alongside the Students Union body and some other students so as to avoid problems but at that point one of the bike men raised a voice saying, He knows the Vice president's house and would come at night with unknown gun men to kill him
In other to stop any means of unruly behavior and suffer any loss, he was arrested by the School Security Unit and some civil defense operatives, believing that the situation had ended and no persistence of argument between Students Union body and The Motorcyclist again
The Motorcyclists took this advantage and went to transformer side very close to school junction again to stop all motorists conveying students of Federal university Oye ekiti and also beating everyone of them in masses as they coming down from the cabs. The students Union body were alerted and also the security unit, a bus conveyed the Executives to the scene of incident with some executives, as soon as the Vice president got down from the cab they attacked him with stones, cutlasses in order to aim his life which led him to stopping of bike men from plying the road and also reiterated that, he only came to address the address the situation, along the process the Motorcyclists started beating students with planks and cane chasing them away which led the VP to meet and stop them from beating his members.
Instead the Motorcyclists came with plank and knife to hit and stab him, but this was prevented by the student and was taken away from the scene by some staffs and getting back to school, he addressed the situation openly at the school field alongside the DSA, Dr Malomo and His President Comr Fasakin Taiwo (Emerald) and indicate no student go to the school junction as at that point in time and remain at school until normalcy is restored by operatives of the police force attached to the Oye ekiti division but information reaching the school again indicates students were being brutalized at the school junction again by the motorcyclists who were seriously in search of fight against the students of the school and hearing the info , some angry students marched to the junction from the school field where the Students Union body and DSA were addressing them immediately the DSA informed the President and other executives to stop the angry students from causing damage of properties and violence within the environment
On marching out of the executives, the Motorcyclists had started throwing stones and bottles whilst some of them went to student hostels to beat them up, cart away belongings, cause damages whereby they stabbed students bottles and forcefully destroying student properties which led to demonstration of students and showing their annoyance and retaliating back to the motorcyclists before moving down the King's palace, Oloye of Oye land to resolve the crisis and avenge loss of life and properties whereby students had mounted road blocks, burning of tires, stopping moving vehicles from plying the major road and expressing their disappointment in the Motorcyclists before the arrival of security personnel to restore law and order also prevent damages from the angry students.
The President of the Student Union body Comr Fasakin Taiwo (Emerald) hereby pleaded with every angry students and also stated that the school management has taken total control of the situation and seen the reasons why they need to provide shuttle and buses, good transportation network in the school, he also added that everyone should home at peace and stated other information would be communicated with everyone later.
All this led to the school management sending all students on a mid-semester break (till further notice), in order to seat back and provide solutions to the real problem which is causing all this problem that's happening.
No more hearsay, nobody died, above are the untold truths about Fight between Oye Bikemen and Fuoye Student.

We should not resume until the school provide a solution to the welfare of students because those bikemen are foolish beating up people feeding it’s so bad for oye community
