The management of the Federal University Oye – Ekiti has commissioned a project constricted a youth corps member serving in the institution, Fadeni Emmanuel Kolawole .Commissioning the project on behalf of the Vice Chancellor professor Kayode Soremekun ,Professor Sylvia Uzochuku said the management was impressed by the initiative of Mr. Kolawole. She challenged the other youth corps members serving in the institution to emulate Mr. Kolawole gesture while assuring them of all the needed support by the institution.
Speaking earlier, Mr. Andy Oberun, An Assistant Director in charge of community Development services, NYSC Ekiti – State said the body encourages serving corps member to always leave positive legacies wherever they found themselves and also encouraged the corps member to emulate the gesture of Mr. Kolawole through instituting other projects that could support the university.
On his part, the corps member Fadeni Emmanuel Kolawole said was overwhelmed by praises of the university management and the NYSC.
He said the project come into fruition through his personal effort and that of some well wisher adding that it was not easy achieving the feat but appreciated God for his guidance and general support. The event was graced by several other management staff of the university, NYSC officials as well as corp members.
