Combatant greetings to the leading leaders,distinguished Faculty Executives, ever reasonable Departmental Executives, Gallant class governors and all indefatigable Nigerian students of our great campus (Ikole Campus) of our noble institution.
We want to use this medium to appreciate you all for coming out in mass so as to make our voices heard on the 15th of April, 2019 and also kudos to all students leaders of ikole campus at the meeting held with the Vice chancellor and other administrative officials, May almighty God continue to shower his blessings endlessly on each and everyone.
Kindly be well assured that our request made known will be monitored and worked on without relenting.
? And for the proposed Mid-semester Examination, it has been cancelled by the Vice Chancellor
? Our indefatigable members in Oye Campus , should also anticipate for her congress which will be conducted soon, as the date and time will be communicated soon.
? Major Outcome of the Meeting held with the Vice chancellor @ikole campus:
- Ikole sport complex will commence on the 23rd of April, 2019.
- Makeshift classrooms will commence on the 23rd April, 2019.
- School Wi-Fi installation to commence on the 23rd April, 2019 plus a 12 days to finish installation process by the University ICT .Recall that the University management already paid Globalcom telecommunications 2 months ago,and the service provider promised Six weeks for the deployment of the services to both campuses and eventually we are at the fifth week.
? FUOYE Guest house to be completed soon and ready to be utilized by the students of Hospitality and Tourism management.
? Recruitment of about 200 staff where 80% will be in the academics sector.
? Bursary unit to begin work at Ikole asap.
? Student Union Executives will be meeting with the GST coordinator to sort issues surrounding GST's.
? Repairing and provision of more furniture shall continue.
? Provision of Borehole for the efficient supply of water to the campus for students usage so as to sort toilets issue.
? As well as other departmental and faculty issues were sorted.
